Praise?  Questions?  Feedback?  Did I make a mistake (it happens)?  I’d love to hear it all!

I am available for school presentations, library readings and presentations to small groups.  I love to inspire young authors to write their own stories and even self-publish them.  I’d like nothing better than to be able to profile a young author who has been inspired by my story to write their own and publish it.  I also enjoy encouraging professionals in education with the endless possibilities in the ebook and print-on-demand world we live in.

Spencer Meadow Press also offers a la carte services to self-publishing authors. Services include: a free one-hour consultation, typesetting, layout, cover design, proofreading, online setup on KDP and IngramSpark and more. Most book genres and music supported. Hi Donna,

I just finished Worship at the Keys, and I felt compelled to reach out. From your opening letter “To Worship Leaders” through the detailed practice sections, this book shines as both a heartfelt encouragement and a practical guide for anyone stepping into the ministry of worship.

What stood out most to me was how gracefully you balanced technical instruction with spiritual sensitivity. The emphasis on supporting individuals in their early stages, rather than pushing for perfection at their expense, struck me as both compassionate and deeply needed in today’s worship culture.

Your clear examples using both hands, keeping rhythm, transposing, and introducing new chords are written in a way that truly empowers students to grow in confidence. I especially appreciated the way you framed playing in the context of a full band or alongside just one other instrument, always preparing the student for real-life worship settings.

I run a visibility service that helps authors like you connect with genre-aligned readers and communities, especially through Goodreads placement, faith-based education networks, and worship ministry outreach. Worship at the Keys would resonate powerfully with:

🎹 Christian schools and music departments equipping young musicians for worship
🙏 Worship leaders seeking resources to train and encourage their teams
📘 Beginners who want a faith centered, confidence-building approach to learning keyboard
🎶 Churches looking to cultivate a spirit of excellence without losing sight of care and discipleship

If you’re open to it, I’d love to send over a visibility snapshot with creative ways to help Worship at the Keys reach the students, directors, and worship communities it was clearly written to serve.

    Warmly,
    Charlotte Ronald

    Hi Donna,

I’m considering your book “The Purple Elephant” for our 22 month old grand daughter. I plan to read the book to her, but at this age, she just loves pictures, and she really loves purple elephants. So my question for you is whether this book has lots of pictures of “purple elephants”? I cannot find a copy at our local book store to make that assessment myself. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Sincerely,

    John Triebe

    • Hi John,
Thank you so much for your interest in my book! It’s going to be several years before your granddaughter is ready for The Purple Elephant. I’ve found that children need to be at least 4 or 5 before they will understand the story. If you have a device that reads kindle books, you can download an electronic version of the book for free for the next few days, 9/7-9/11. I suggest you get the e-version and let your granddaughter enjoy the pictures. If you decide to purchase the paperback version, make sure to buy the version with the colored pictures, not the black & white pictures. Thanks for visiting!
